Where did the 11 months go? Everyone says that infancy/babyhood goes by in a flash and there were plenty of times I seriously doubted this (all those "up all nighters", fussy days, etc). But yes, it is true, it went by so fast! In a couple weeks, my baby boy is going to be a toddler! It sure has been an amazing year to say the least. While we say goodbye to things like newborn diapers, baby bathtubs, days without chasing him around the house, and itty bitty clothes, we open a new chapter to walking, talking, laughing and playing with the neighbor kids. It is so much fun to see Abe grow and learn - with each day something new and exciting can happen. He took his first step alone 2 days ago, he learned that he LOVES to dance, and he is finally saying "dada"! We can't wait to see what's next :)
We captured some great moments on his 11 month old birthday. It was a beautiful sunny day and I brought Abe over to my mom's to snap some shots by the barn.

I also thought it would be fun to try and re-create this photo, it's one of my ultimate favorites of my nephew Dylan (who's now almost 6). I think he was about Abe's age when it was taken. Sadly, his dog Chase is now in doggie heaven, so we used the sheep door stop instead (not nearly as sweet, I know).
